La capacitación llamada, Conoce tus Derechos, de AIRR brinda a los miembros de la comunidad que se ven directamente afectados por estas políticas de inmigración. No importa dónde nació o cuál es su estado migratorio, tiene derechos bajo la constitución. Durante esta capacitación, repasamos sus derechos en el hogar, la calle, y las paradas de tráfico. Después de esta capacitación, el objetivo de AIRR es que la mayor cantidad posible de miembros de la comunidad se sientan seguros de su conocimiento de sus derechos para poder ejercerlos y mantenerse a salvo ellos y sus familias.

Nancy Z. Olivares es nativa de Kansas City y estadounidense de primera generación nacida de padres inmigrantes mexicanos. Recibió un Doctorado en Jurisprudencia de la Facultad de Derecho de UMKC en 2011 y una Licenciatura y Maestría en Ciencias en Ingeniería Mecánica en 2001 y 2003, respectivamente, de la Universidad de Missouri-Columbia. Actualmente es propietaria y opera una pequeña firma de inmigración y defensa criminal comprometida a servir a inmigrantes y poblaciones desatendidas en el área metropolitana de Kansas City. Las raíces profundas y humildes de Nancy la inspiran a ser una voz contra las injusticias sociales y económicas y una defensora de todos los derechos humanos.
